The first stone paper factory in the Middle East started today
Pishgaman san'at sabz company (PSSCO) with an annual production capacity of 5000 tons of stone paper was opened in Iran, Yazd province. The stone paper is made from calcium carbonate and HDPE.
To produce this environmentally friendly paper, no trees are cut and no water is used.
Pishgaman stone paper is used for printing and packaging. It is produced in rolls and sheets in thicknesses of 100 to 400 microns.
